Dr. Francis brings decades of clinical leadership experience to the COSMO Healthcare program.
As a practicing trauma surgeon, he co-designed this curriculum to bridge the gap between
the rigorous, outcome-focused discipline of clinical medicine and the leadership development
that health systems, GME programs, and residency directors need most.
His involvement is not advisory. He co-facilitates every cohort, bringing peer credibility
and a clinical lens that no general leadership program can replicate. When a department chair
or program director joins a discovery call, they're talking to a surgeon — not a sales team.

A note on CME accreditation
We are actively pursuing CME accreditation and will update this page when that process is complete. In the meantime, this program delivers documented continuing education hours, ACGME-aligned competency language, and a certification from an ICF-accredited body — all of which count toward leadership development requirements at most health systems.
